Attacks and displacement spread in Sudan’s
Clashes between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the army around the main towns and cities had caused people to flee, some of them from camps for displaced people in the hardly stricken region of darfur in western Sudan.
The war that erupted between the army and the RSF in the capital Khartoum has led to a surge of ethnically-charged violence and displacement in Darfur, the RSF’s powerbase and a region already suffering from long-running conflict.
The current war, which erupted amid disputes over a planned transition towards civilian rule, has led to the displacement of more than 3 million people, including more than 700,000 who have crossed into neighbouring countries.
INNMA is on constant dialogue with partners and affected internally displaced as well as externally refugees to map out a locally sensitive intervention and most need help by victims of the bloody war.
As well, INNMA reached out to some possible potential donors , who might be interested in coming into a partnership in the areas of food security and sustain livelihoods projects.
The adversely war impacts has far reached small s ale farmers, livestock holders, and impoverished rural communities.
